Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Clover University (the "Service"), operated by Visualvol LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("Visualvol", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

2. The Service

The Service lets you upload study materials and interact with them through AI-generated chat, flashcards, and practice exams. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted material without permission.
  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
  • Use the Service to generate content that infringes others' rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Service.
  • Use the Service to cheat on assessments where doing so violates your institution's rules.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs as a competing service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. AI-generated content

Outputs from the Service (chat responses, flashcards, exam questions, etc.) are generated by third-party AI models and may be incorrect, incomplete, or biased. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output before relying on it for academic, professional, or other purposes. The Service is not a substitute for qualified instruction or professional advice.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any materials you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not share Your Content with third parties except as required to operate the Service (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Subscription and payment

Some features require a paid subscription (the "Pro" plan). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on behalf of Visualvol LLC. We do not store your full payment card information.

EU and UK consumers — right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU and the equivalent UK regulations. By activating a Pro subscription and starting to use Pro features immediately, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has begun, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued provision of the Service becomes impractical. On termination, we may delete Your Content after a reasonable retention window described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THAT PERIOD, OR \$100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING MANDATORY EU/UK CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the Service. Continued use after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, except where applicable consumer protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
